The senses of senior .help - Sensors

The fundamental building block for all sensors in our senior help cloud. The senior.help Sensor Master is required to transmit signals to the cloud ; you could call this the " sensors " of senior.help . It has two ports for the sensors . Two identical sensors or two different ones can be connected.

What can be measured, observed, and recorded to trigger a corresponding alarm?

• Ambient temperature: Based on the measured temperature, automations are triggered: ° Alarm if a certain temperature is not reached ° Stove shuts off and alarm is triggered if a certain temperature is exceeded

• Ambient humidity: If the humidity in the laundry room or bathroom is too high, an alarm will be triggered.

• Water sensor: When water is detected, an alarm is triggered; in conjunction with our senior .help water valve, the water supply can be shut off.

• Smoke and heat detectors

  The safest method to monitor a hob or oven.

  - An alarm is triggered when a threshold is exceeded.

  - In conjunction with our senior .help actuator On/Off, the cooker is switched off and an alarm is triggered.

• Door and window contacts

  The states of the windows and doors can be sent to the senior .help Cloud as triggers or parameters.

  ° Opening a door or window at certain times triggers an alarm

  ° If a door is not reopened after a certain time, an alarm is triggered, e.g., in the bathroom (if the door does not reopen after 30 minutes).

  A window left open triggers an alarm, e.g., for more than 30 minutes.

  A front door left open triggers an alarm, e.g., for more than 10 minutes.

• Light barrier

  If you don't want to mount anything on the doors or windows, you can also monitor them with our light barrier.

• Foot mat

  If motion detectors are not desired, but the pressure mat optimally supports your monitoring, you can order the senior .help Sensor Master with pressure mat connection only.

  
  

Two sensors can be connected to one sensor master .

All sensors are supplied with a 10m cable each to ensure that the connection between the sensor and the sensor master is suitable in every situation.

The senior .help Sensor Master has a USB-C port and comes with a USB power adapter.
